Julie Ericson (Jericson) 

​Burien-based artist Julie Ericson, signing as Jericson, draws deep inspiration from the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the creative bond she shares with her 100-year-young grandfather. Though she first pursued a more traditional path, Julie returned to her artistic roots in adulthood, beginning with photography and eventually falling in love with watercolor through joyful painting sessions with her grandfather. 
Her work reflects a whimsical appreciation for nature, storytelling, and the magic of everyday life. From greeting cards and coloring books to murals and watercolor scenes, Julie creates to spark delight and wonder in her community. She believes creativity is ageless, and each piece she paints is a celebration of color, connection, and the unfolding flow of inspiration.
