Our Story
Artists United Club is a group of artists -- amateur, professional and retired. It was started in 1949 by a group of watercolorists living in Burien and Normandy Park. Artists United gradually expanded to include artists from throughout the South King County area. Member artists work in a variety of mediums, including drawing, painting, photography, mixed media, textiles and jewelry. Our mission is to encourage individual artistic development and to bring art into the communities of South King County.
Guests and new members are always welcome. Our meetings are held on the First Tuesday of the Month, from September to June at 12pm, at the Normandy Park Cove. After the meeting, we have a social break followed by an art-related program.
