Burien B-Town Fiesta 2026
Sunday, September 27 | Noon to 7:00 PM
Downtown Burien • SW 152nd Street & Burien Town Square Park
It was a successful Sunday for Artists United. Our members sold more than $380 worth of artwork during the event. While overall attendance was moderate, Artists United benefited from a prime location near the entrance, providing excellent visibility throughout the day.
Having three artists share the booth proved to be a successful approach. The variety of artwork on display gave visitors a diverse selection to choose from, and sales were distributed fairly evenly among the artists. Sharing the booth also allowed members to take turns exploring the event and connecting with other participants.
Community outreach was equally successful. We connected with all of the Latino organizations participating in the event and established several new relationships. These conversations opened the door to future collaborations and strengthened Artists United's ties to the broader community.

Burien Arts‑A‑Glow – Event Summary
Burien Arts‑A‑Glow took place on Saturday, September 2026 in Downtown Burien. Artists United was invited to participate in partnership with the Highline Heritage Museum (HHM), and our activity station was located in the HHM Gallery/Conference Room.
Participating Members:
The activity remained consistently busy until approximately 9:30 PM, at which point the painting was considered complete. The final 30 minutes were dedicated to promoting Artists United and engaging with attendees.
Post‑Event: Rachel Baker took the completed painting home and will refine it before presenting it to the club at the October meeting.

Activities
November Art Fair: An annual show and sale of artworks by members, held every November at the Normandy Park Cove, 1500 SW Shorebrook Drive, Normandy Park, WA.
Exhibits: Local venues where members may display and sell artwork on a rotational year-round basis.
Programs: Art presentations and art demonstrations by local artists working in various art media.
Artwork of the Month: Artists bring a recent work to the monthly meeting for member viewing. The winning artwork is selected by members through secret ballot, and is hung at Burien Community Center for one month.
Annual Juried Show: A public exhibit produced by members, juried by professional artists, with awards presented to the winning artists. Locations vary from year to year.
Exhibits: Local venues where members may display and sell artwork on a rotational year-round basis.
