Anita Corby

​After working as a graphic designer in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she decided to enter the world of fine art and devoted the next years to study oil painting in the impression style.  She describes her style as evolving. In 2008, Anita designed and executed a mural for the City of Des Moines, titled "Spirit of Des Moines", which can be viewed at the marina waterfront. Her focus is currently on portraiture, and she has received portrait commissions statewide.  Anita believes, that the creation of good art is more about passion and hard work, than talent.
