A very accomplished oil painter once said to me “It’s all about the paint” That quote has become my mantra.
I was always enamored with art and inspired by the natural world. I knew I would become an artist. Exploring different mediums throughout the years, I experienced expressive fulfillment. Now in my 70s, I want to live the life as a painter.
These days I work with both oil and acrylic paint but oils are definitely my passion. I find playing with the rich vibrant color and luscious buttery texture of the oil paint especially satisfying. Ultimately I my wish is to share the creative delight I experience while painting with the viewers of my work.
